Not even being contrarian, but Beserk is pretty low down in Seinen quality rankings. It’s fine, it’s good. But it’s far from a bookshelf staple, & is crazy overrated. Punpun, Vinland, Vagabond deserve their hype, but Beserk is below Dorohedoro, Vampire Hunter D, maybe even Monster.
